We are the Ladies of Lecora.
Once we were all crowded into a small classroom and by encouraging and supporting each other we achieved our City and Guilds embroidery diplomas.
Then we left college to stitch alone , and missed all the cameraderie and encouragement ......
So Lecora Fabrics was formed! Aren't we a cheerful -looking crew?
We meet about 6 or 8 times a year, and we exhibit together at least once every year... or at least thats the plan...
Strule Arts Centre, in Omagh, Co Tyrone has agreed to host our next show.
We are making this blog as a record of everything that goes into making a (hopefully) successful art exhibition
Should be Interesting.........

Thanks for your comment Suzie. You ladies are a welcome addition to blogland. Which one are you?
(If you would like replies to comments by the way you need to add an e mail to your profile so people can just click reply, for at the moment you are a no-reply' blogger!)
Thank You Jackie- I'm a big fan of your blog and you are our first commenter! I'm second from the left (orange scarf, red face-not a good combination!) In the photo we have just put the finishing touches to our exhibit at the Knit and Stitch show in Belfast last November.
We are very new to the whole world of blogging, but I'm pleased with the start we've made....
